Nearly 370 students graduated from Widener University School of Law this year. U.S Rep. Patrick J. Murphy, a 1999 graduate of the Harrisburg campus, delivered the commencement address for both campuses. Delaware's graduation ceremony was held on the Wilmington campus. The Harrisburg ceremony was held in downtown Harrisburg at the Forum. Click here to view pictures from the 2009 graduation ceremonies.
Support Widener Law:
Gifts for FY 08-09 are due by June 30
Honor the past. Embrace the present. Enhance the future. Over 1,000 alumni donated a financial gift to the Law School in the 2007-2008 fiscal year. Help us build on that momentum in 2008-2009 by making your donation today. Every gift, no matter the size, helps further Law School development. ENGRAVED PAVERS AVAILABLE
Make your mark on Widener's Delaware campus! Widener University School of Law is undertaking a unique landscaping project which will serve as a gathering area for students. The centerpiece of the project will be a fountain surrounded by brick pathways and flower beds.
You can be a part of this momentous construction project by purchasing an engraved 6”x 6” or 6” x 9” paver. Each paver can be engraved with a name and class year, family name or message from you. Honor your friends or relatives with personalized engraved pavers. This is a wonderful way to commemorate a graduation or similar event.
There are a limited number of pavers that will be installed for this project, so please act now. Orders will be taken through June 30, 2009, but if you would like your paver to be installed prior to graduation, please order your paver prior to March 31, 2009. The cost of each paver is $150 for a 6” x 6” paver and $250 for a 6”x 9” paver. All gifts dedicated to this project are also tax deductible.
