Ashley Barton, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations and Development, is based on Widener Law's Harrisburg campus. Prior to this position, Ashley completed an internship with Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania's Office of University Relations. She graduated with magna cum laude honors from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in May, 2006, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication with a concentration in Applied Communication and a minor in Psychology. Ashley is currently enrolled in the Organizational Development and Leadership Master's degree program at Shippensburg University.

Since joining the staff in October of 2006, Ashley has planned alumni events throughout South Central Pennsylvania; in Northeastern Pennsylvania; Washington, D.C.; New York, NY; and other various cities across the nation. Ashley manages the Harrisburg Phonathon, the Harrisburg Class Agent Program, the Class Gift Program, and a variety of fundraising efforts. In addition to planning events and working on fundraising projects, she is responsible for alumni website maintenance and producing the quarterly Harrisburg alumni e-newsletter.
