Anne F. Michelini ’88 named Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year
The Engineers Club of Philadelphia announced that Anne F. Michelini '88 PE was named the Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year. This distinguished award recognizes a standout local engineer who emulates the qualities that define professional excellence, civic duty, society leadership and community stewardship.
With more than 40 years of experience in capital project leadership, Michelini plans and executes projects internationally at Covanta. In addition, her community engagement and efforts to promote diversity and inclusion include serving as a former board member with First State Robotics, helping to found the Multicultural and Diversity Network at Covanta and serving as an executive sponsor of the Covanta women's network, RISE. She earned her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Bucknell University and a master's in business administration from Widener University.
