Lydia Flinner ’21 was named the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) of the Year
Lydia Flinner ’21 was named the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) of the Year by University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Flinner, who earned a nursing degree from Widener’s Family Nurse Practitioner graduate program, is a nurse practitioner who specializes in general surgery and breast surgery at Leader Surgical Associates-UPMC in central Pennsylvania.
This award recognizes Flinner as an outstanding APP who demonstrates the highest commitment in supporting the vision, mission, and goals of UPMC through her work and clinical practice. As a nurse practitioner, Flinner exhibits an exemplary performance as a role model, mentor, collaborator, and relationship builder across the spectrum of health care delivery.
