COVID-19 Updates

All on-campus/in-person alumni and donor events have been canceled or postponed and visiting campus is restricted until further notice. When possible, alumni events will be offered virtually.
Our Alumni and Development teams are continuing work remotely and are available to support you. In addition to the resources and services available on our website, we are always available at alumnioffice@widener.edu.
The university continues to evaluate and follow the advice of public health experts.
We will keep you informed via email or social media.

How We Can Support Our Students Together

Widener worked quickly to address the health and safety of our students and all three of our campus communities. This is an especially disruptive time for our students and Widener is providing support wherever possible. We encourage you to explore the various ways you can help us support our students.

Widener has created the Widener Student Emergency Fund to assist students and their families with unexpected costs related to COVID-19 including travel, technology needs, and in some cases, the loss or reduction of wages from internships, co-ops, and jobs.

Your support of the Widener Student Emergency Fund will be a lifeline for students who face challenges they couldn’t have imagined just a few short weeks ago.

Some of our students have faced the loss of co-ops and internships and all of our seniors will be entering an uncertain job market. Networking with alumni who offer professional advice, support, and encouragement will make a big difference. Our students are amazing and they need your help! You’ll both enjoy the experience.
