A desired legacy of mine is to leave a lasting and positive impact on our world. Having spent more than 20 years in smaller nonprofit organizations, I took a leap into higher education as Widener's Director of Sponsored Research and Foundation Relations. This role allows me to work alongside faculty and staff on identifying and securing grant funding for their research or projects, and in managing the grants awarded. Our collaboration influences academic programming, community outreach and campus infrastructure.
In an effort to expand global philanthropy with organizations and nations whose culture of giving is still developing, I have enjoyed presenting locally and internationally on issues related to fundraising. I am also a proud citizen of Italy, and have been studying Italian language and culture through courses at Widener, traveling, and in learning how to many many varieties of homemade pasta.
