In August, the White House announced the Student Debt Relief Plan, a comprehensive policy that will implement a series of debt forgiveness measures for eligible federal loan borrowers. As a potential recipient of this relief, we want to make you aware of key details of this plan, how it may apply to you, and important next steps.

Students often turn down or turn away from unpaid internships in their fields because of economic considerations. A new, donor-funded program is designed to help overcome the financial barrier.

Thanks to the love and support of her father, the advocation of her advisor, and transformative opportunities at Widener, Neeta Basantkumar ’04 has made her dreams come true. Now, she is working to make dreams come true for future Widener students.

The expansion of health science programs in the College of Health & Human Services and School of Nursing is bolstering Widener’s interprofessional learning approach that has set the programs apart and put students on track to becoming competent and compassionate clinicians.
